Julie Milton – Abstract
Julie is an abstract artist living and working on the Lizard, Cornwall. Working mainly with acrylics, Julie works intuitively, using mark making and colour alone to shape her work. She has exhibited at a range of galleries in Cornwall and across the country.

Constantine Art Society Annual Exhibition
My art conveys a sense of warmth, positivity and uplifting energy suggesting feelings of joy, comfort and hope. I try to symbolise the emotional nourishment which brightens the viewers mood, inspires peace and happiness by exploring nature, light and colours to reflect this.
Overall, my work reflects the idea that art can nurture the soul and spirit bringing light into the inner world.

50/05 ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION
We can hardly believe it ourselves, but Constantine Arts Society has been here for 50 years. It’s time to put the flags out! After much discussion it was agreed to hold an Exhibition of 50 pieces of art for 50 years. Artwork will include jewellery, woodwork and ceramics as well as paintings.

The Butterfly Ball – Jennie Jewitt-Harris
Jennie Jewitt-Harris’ Butterfly Ball exhibition is an imaginary gathering of amazing historical women, recreated as butterfly paintings, inspired by the Mexican folklore that butterflies carry the souls or the spirits of the departed.
Each guest, from Florence Nightingale to Josephine Baker, has been turned into a butterfly using paint, collage, and other mixed media.
Jennie has a PhD in Fine Art from UCA Farnham, and has exhibited in Falmouth, Bracknell, and a variety of London venues including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

The Lino Coast – Katherine Murdoch
Katherine Murdoch is a junior doctor currently walking the Cornish coast path and creating lino prints of the landscape that inspires her. The prints are created in situ and are a diary to the walks undertaken.

Jack Chalker & Philip Howells
Paintings by artists and educators Jack Chalker ( 1918-2014) and Philip Howells (1922-2016) from the collection of Guy Chalker-Howells.
Well known as a war artist, Jack Chalker was principal at Falmouth College of Art from 1950 – 1957, going on to lead West of England College of Art from 1958.
An inspirational teacher, Philip Howells taught at Redruth School of Art from 1958 and Helston School till 1980.

Wildlife Experience
Join artist Rae Gray and animal presenter Mark’s Ark for a unique, interactive, hands-on experience of the natural world.
Rae will be exhibiting her drawings of insects and nature, she will be selling posters, prints, greeting cards and a range of new products featuring her artwork.
Mark will be bringing his beautiful collection of animals for a hands-on wildlife experience. His passion and knowledge of the natural world will both inspire and fascinate you!
