April/May: ‘Character and Setting’ – an exhibition of etchings by John Howard RE – from his time as artist in residence at Birmingham Repertory Theatre, and Hugo Jones – whose portraits capture expression through line, finding movement in the contours of the face.
June/July: Contemporary still-life paintings by Si Hamling who studied painting and printmaking at Falmouth School of Art.
Two medics – one retired, the other at the start of her career – are showing paintings inspired by their travels.
